Job description

Job Title: Customer Service Associateย 
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Springdale, AR 72762 (On-site position)
Schedule: 40 hours per week

Shift Details:

  • 2nd Shift: Saturday โ€“ Monday, 7:00 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM

  • Occasional option to work on Fridays

  • Training Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM for a minimum of 3 weeks


Job Summary:

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for managing relationships between transportation carriers, customers, and sales teams. This role requires a strong understanding of the customerโ€™s processes and needs, and close coordination with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned external customers.

  • Manage all aspects of the customer relationship, including responding to high volumes of emails and resolving issues efficiently.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments.

  • Use various dispatch and scheduling platforms (e.g., TES, LME, Four Kites, OTR, Retailix, Retail Link, UNFI, One Network, etc.) to track, coordinate, and resolve delivery and service issues.

  • Understand internal systems, policies, and procedures, as well as customer organizational structures and workflows.

  • Identify and implement cost-effective and creative solutions to delivery and service issues.

  • Represent the company positively through timely, accurate, and professional customer support.


Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in customer service or transportation/logistics.

Experience:

  • Experience in customer service roles beyond call centers.

  • Dispatching experience in logistics or transportation is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Comfortable handling high-volume email communication (300+ emails per day).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Effective conflict management

  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently

  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills

  • A proactive and positive attitude
