How you'll contribute
A Quality Analyst RN who excels in this role:
  • Monitors, communicates, performs data entry of core measure indicators and any new measures that are added for regulatory compliance.
  • Provides staff/physician education related to core measure indicator compliance.
  • Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives. Maintains and monitors COMET and Quality NET systems
  • Collaborates with QRM Director in maintaining knowledge of regulatory compliance.
  • Participates in quality improvement activities of the organization and department.
  • Serves as backup to the discharge advocate and maintains the on-line Health Stream activities for all staff and monitors employee compliance.

What we're looking for
  • Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
  • 3 years of previous acute care experience preferred
  • Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required at the time of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 6 months of hire or department transfer
  • Licenses: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee or a licensed Registered Nurse from a Compact State with the proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
