Senior Quality - Registered Nurse (RN)Job Type: Full-Time, Days

As a Senior Quality Officer, you are more than a departmental leader - you are a strategic partner in our mission to make communities healthier. You will guide enterprisewide quality initiatives, elevate patient safety, and ensure regulatory readiness across the organization. Your voice will influence decisions at the highest levels, including Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors.

How you'll contribute

In this highly visible and impactful role, you will direct the operational, financial, and personnel resources for multiple qualitydriven functions, ensuring a coordinated and systemwide approach to performance excellence. Your leadership will support clinical and nonclinical teams, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Quality Performance, Accreditation/Licensing, Patient Relations, Infection Prevention, Patient Safety, and Policy/Procedure Management
  • Representing the Quality Department in Leadership and Board meetings
  • Overseeing regulatory surveys (DOH, CMS, and accrediting bodies)
  • Directing performance improvement processes and supporting multidisciplinary teams
  • Serving as an internal consultant for Joint Commission, DNV, HFAP, and other regulatory standards
  • Developing and implementing data analytics strategies aligned with the Strategic Plan and Quality Dashboard
  • Managing occurrence reporting, nearmiss analysis, and sentinel event investigations
  • Coaching leaders on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and fostering a Just Culture
  • Leading proactive riskassessment strategies and internal communication of patientsafety issues
  • Monitoring patient and family satisfaction and responding to concerns
  • Supporting discharge planning, community resource coordination, and chart review for quality, compliance, and reimbursement
