Lead Quality Across Every Project
JSET Automated Technologies is seeking an experienced QA/QC Program Manager to lead, develop, and continuously improve our company-wide Quality Assurance and Quality Control program.
This leadership role is responsible for ensuring that systems are installed correctly, configured properly, tested thoroughly, documented accurately, and delivered defect-free. The QA/QC Program Manager serves as JSET's quality authority, providing oversight across project planning, procurement, installation, commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, operational discipline, and strong leadership skills to drive consistency, accountability, and quality execution across multiple projects and teams.

What You'll Do
Quality Program Leadership
  • Own and maintain JSET's Quality Assurance and Quality Control program
  • Develop, improve, and standardize quality processes across all projects
  • Establish inspection standards, quality procedures, audit processes, and compliance requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality performance and project execution
  • Ensure consistent application of quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
Quality Oversight & Governance
  • Lead project quality reviews and readiness assessments
  • Conduct quality audits and field inspections
  • Monitor project compliance with quality requirements, contract specifications, approved submittals, and manufacturer standards
  • Identify quality risks early and implement corrective actions
  • Provide leadership visibility into quality performance and emerging project risks
Field Quality & Installation Verification
  • Verify installation quality for controls, low-voltage systems, networking infrastructure, control panels, and related equipment
  • Ensure inspections are completed accurately and documented properly
  • Validate installation workmanship, device configuration, cable management, labeling, testing, and documentation compliance
  • Support project teams in achieving successful quality outcomes throughout execution
Commissioning & Readiness Leadership
  • Establish and enforce commissioning readiness requirements
  • Verify systems are prepared for startup, testing, and turnover activities
  • Review point-to-point testing, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and commissioning documentation
  • Validate system performance before turnover to customers
  • Serve as the gatekeeper for project quality readiness milestones
Deficiency & Corrective Action Management
  • Lead the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process
  • Manage defect identification, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification activities
  • Track quality trends and recurring issues
  • Drive initiatives that reduce rework and improve project performance
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained
Documentation & Turnover Management
  • Oversee quality documentation requirements from project startup through closeout
  • Verify turnover packages are complete, accurate, and compliant
  • Review as-built documentation, testing records, commissioning reports, configuration settings, and quality deliverables
  • Ensure documentation accurately reflects field installation conditions
Training & Organizational Development
  • Train Project Managers, Superintendents, Field Technicians, and Project Teams on quality requirements and expectations
  • Develop quality training programs, standards, and reference materials
  • Promote company-wide adoption of consistent quality practices
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Controls, Commissioning, and Operations teams
  • Coordinate quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support alignment between project execution, quality expectations, commissioning requirements, and customer deliverables
  • Serve as a key contributor to company-wide continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 7+ years of experience in quality management, QA/QC leadership, commissioning, project delivery, controls, automation, or mission-critical construction environments
  • Strong understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), industrial controls, networking, or low-voltage systems
  • Experience implementing quality programs, inspection systems, audit processes, or commissioning standards
  • Working knowledge of commissioning processes, point-to-point testing, functional performance testing, and integrated systems testing
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, readiness reviews, and corrective action management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence teams and enforce standards across multiple projects and departments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial construction projects
  • Experience leading company-wide QA/QC programs
  • Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, IP networking, building automation systems, controls architecture, and system integration
  • Experience managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), quality audits, and defect prevention programs
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Manager (CQM), PMP, Six Sigma, or similar professional certifications
  • Experience developing quality dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting tools
  • Familiarity with Procore, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, or related project management and reporting tools
