The impact you'll make
This role will have a high-profile presence within the Deposition Product Group (DPG) and will drive measurable improvements in business operations through strong quality program management and sustained execution of strategic quality initiatives. The individual will lead cross-functional quality programs, accelerate 8D cycle time reduction, improve supplier failure analysis effectiveness, and proactively transition DPG quality execution. This role will directly contribute to multi-million-dollar cost savings that will be reinvested into future growth, product development, and data-driven business decision-making, while reducing customer-visible risk.
What you'll do
  • Lead and sustain quality strategic initiatives, owning execution cadence, milestones, risk management, and measurable outcomes across assigned programs.
  • Partner with Quality stakeholders and the analytics team to track and manage key KPIs, quality program critical deliverables, identify trends and gaps, and deliver clear, executive-level reporting.
  • Drive alignment across Quality, Engineering, SET, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to improve end-to-end quality performance.
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams (CFTs) to address systemic quality issues and accelerate the transition from reactive issue management to proactive risk prevention.
  • Collaborate with Install & Warranty and Inventory program managers to analyze data trends and patterns, driving targeted improvements in key performance indicators.
  • Expand the impact and maturity of Cost of Quality by correlating I&W data, ECOGS, and quality events to identify causal relationships and uncover hidden costs across the network.
  • Lead and/or advise on multiple concurrent initiatives, demonstrating strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Who we're looking for
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, or Program Management; Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; or PhD with 5+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent practical experience and/or PDR experience.

  • Deep working knowledge of 8D / RCCA methodologies, failure analysis, supplier quality processes, and KPI-driven performance management, with demonstrated ability to manage high-complexity workloads in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to define clear problem statements and objectives, develop structured analytical approaches, and execute data-driven analyses to drive decisions and outcomes.
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams, demonstrating effective leadership, influence, and accountability to deliver results.
  • Extensive knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis, and quality systems.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to present conclusions, insights, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, capable of engaging audiences at multiple organizational levels.
  • Willingness and ability to benchmark and adapt best practices to continuously improve quality execution.

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor fabrication, semiconductor equipment operations, or closely related industries is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve and evolve processes and methodologies for capturing, structuring, interpreting, and using data effectively.
  • Proven success applying structured problem-solving methodologies and quality tools to resolve complex, multi-variable problems.
  • Hands-on experience with structured problem-solving frameworks such as PDCA, DMAIC, and 8D, including practical application of quality tools.
  • Knowledge of Power BI dashboard creation and strong data analytics capabilities are a strong advantage
