Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Supervisor or Manager to lead the packaging department within a highly regulated manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with bottling packaging lines in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food production settings and a proven ability to lead and train packaging teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily packaging operations and manage production planning based on manpower and equipment capacity.

  • Maintain compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and internal quality standards.

  • Supervise and train packaging operators and line leads on SOPs, safety protocols, and quality guidelines.

  • Coordinate execution of packaging validations, cleaning verifications, and batch production activities.

  • Utilize ERP systems to manage data entry and packaging-related transactions.

  • Monitor deviations, change controls, and CAPAs; ensure timely documentation and resolution.

  • Ensure packaging records, batch reports, and protocols are reviewed and approved as per compliance standards.

  • Report key performance metrics, issues, and ongoing improvements to senior leadership.

  • Interview, hire, and onboard new team members as needed.


Must-Have Skills:
  • Bottling packaging line experience in a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical/food manufacturing environment.

  • 5–10 years of experience in a packaging leadership role.

  • Team management and training experience.

  • Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing software systems.

  • Strong communication and basic English proficiency.

  • Understanding of GMP, FDA, and industry regulatory requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or related field.

  • Experience in documentation, validation protocols, and compliance audits.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced production environments.

  • Knowledge of employment and safety regulations.


Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Light to moderate lifting (up to 15 lbs) may be required.

  • Prolonged periods of standing or sitting.

  • Use of computer, phone, and packaging equipment.
