Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager/Weld Inspector to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest quality standards in our welding processes and overall production. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies to enhance product quality.

  • Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and drive quality initiatives.

  • Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and develop corrective action plans.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.

  • Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in welding technology.

  • Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.

    Qualifications
  • Experience as a Quality Manager or Weld Inspector in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and quality standards (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred.

  • Certification in welding inspection (e.g., CWI, CWE) is preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
