The Quality Manager is responsible for product inspection, managing the Quality Management System, customer and internal audits, and continuous improvement through corrective actions and problem solving. Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of inspectors, CMM programmers, and quality engineers
- Act as management representative, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System in compliance with the AS9100 standard and ISO9001 standard
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain organizational awareness and training on the Quality Management System
- Direct internal audit processes, facilitate certification, customer, and other quality audits
- Evaluate customer returns, drive dispositions, and assure resolution, Interface with customers on quality issues and resolution
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience in process optimization and new product introduction preferred.
- 3 or more years of experience working within AS or ISO quality management systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in communicating with suppliers and customers for corrective actions and reviews.
- Direct experience as QMS auditor
