Job description

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Quality Management System Supervisor.

In this role you will be responsible for supervising Customer Quality Management Systems personnel and leading the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Customer Quality Management System (CQMS).

        Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

  • Lead and manage the Customer Quality Management System (CQMS), ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements, and company quality standards.

  • Serve as the primary customer quality liaison, building strong customer relationships, leading quality-related discussions, and ensuring timely resolution of customer concerns, complaints, and corrective actions.

  • Provide leadership and direction to CQMS personnel, including supervision, work prioritization, coaching, performance management, and employee development.

  • Drive audit readiness and compliance activities, overseeing document control, quality records, management reviews, customer audits, and corrective action follow-up to maintain system effectiveness.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve quality performance, reduce non-quality costs, strengthen process discipline, and enhance customer satisfaction.

     If you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer quality systems, quality auditing, manufacturing quality, or a related quality management function.

  • Experience managing Customer Quality Management Systems (CQMS) and conducting internal, external, or customer quality audits.

  • Strong customer-facing quality experience, including direct interaction with customers, customer quality representatives, and resolution of quality concerns.

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with prior supervisory, team lead, or people leadership experience preferred; Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
