Job Description:

Take the lead in ensuring product excellence as our Engineering Lab Manager in Denver, Colorado! Join a well-established manufacturer of commercial specialty equipment and play a pivotal role in maintaining top-tier safety, sanitation, and energy efficiency standards. This is your opportunity to oversee laboratory testing, support product certifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compliance and innovation in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment


What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a laboratory, product-testing, compliance, or engineering environment
  • Proven leadership in managing laboratory testing activities
  • Experience within manufacturing, particularly in HVAC, refrigeration, commercial appliances, or related fields
  • Familiarity with product safety and sanitation testing standards
  • Knowledge of UL, NSF, ETL, AHRI, ASHRAE, Department of Energy, OSHA requirements
  • Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and CAD drawings (SolidWorks preferred)


Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with three-dimensional CAD software, especially SolidWorks
  • Prior experience working with external testing agencies and certification organizations
  • Knowledge of regulatory updates and compliance strategies


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
