• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory analyses-such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, identify and troubleshoot any inconsistencies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in collecting specimens and preparing samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new staff or interns, and uphold quality assurance standards within the lab environment.
• Ensure a clean and safe laboratory space while complying with regulatory and accrediting organizations' requirements.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification with ASCP/AMT certification eligibility.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of employment.
• Required to maintain your certification throughout the duration of employment.
