Quality InspectorDanbury, CT | Full-Time | On-Site (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)About the RoleAB Electronics is always looking for experienced Quality Inspectors to join our team onsite in Danbury, CT. This role is key to making sure our circuit board and cable assemblies meet the standards our customers rely on. You'll work closely with production teams, apply your technical knowledge, and bring a detail-focused mindset to every inspection.What You'll DoInspect soldering, PCBs, and cable assemblies for workmanship and compliance.Follow customer specifications, industry standards, and internal procedures to guide inspections.Document inspection results clearly and consistently.Work with production teams to address findings and improve processes.Support a safe, consistent, and quality-driven work environment.What You BringExperience with electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and cable assemblies.Ability to read and use process documentation (travelers, routing sheets, component data sheets, work instructions).Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.Clear communication skills for sharing inspection results and collaborating with team members.What Will Set You ApartCertification to IPC-A-610, J-STD, and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620.Experience using microscopes and other magnification for inspection.AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) experience.Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards.Experience using FactoryLogix or a similar MES.Physical RequirementsMust have strong visual acuity for inspecting small components, including under magnification. Able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Comfortable wearing PPE and working in a production environment.
