Quality Inspector: Richmond, Illinois
Our customer in Richmond, Illinois is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Quality Inspector to work full-time on 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting manufactured products, verifying specifications, and documenting quality results to ensure finished goods meet required standards.
Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:
  • Inspect finished products and components to ensure quality and functionality standards are met.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges.
  • Verify dimensions, tolerances, and specifications by reading blueprints and work orders.
  • Conduct daily quality audits and inspections as assigned.
  • Document inspection results accurately and enter data into the ERP system.
  • Identify non-conforming products and communicate issues to production or quality leadership.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area.
Quality Inspector Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred.
  • 1–2 years of related inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools such as calipers.
