Korber Technologies, Inc., a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco Industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector's primary responsibilities is to perform the inspection of machined parts and assemblies, both purchased and machined in-house, ensuring all quality standards are met. This position ensures efficient utilization of resources, supports purchasing, engineering, on-time delivery goals, and contributes to overall manufacturing performance. The role requires demonstrated experience with SAP and a solid understanding of quality processes, inspection tools and equipment, ISO 9001, calibrations, in a safe manufacturing environment.

Your role in our team
  • You will interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing blueprints
  • Perform inspections of incoming materials to verify compliance with specifications through visual checks and measurement testing
  • Conduct in-process inspections of machined components, sheet metal parts, and welded assemblies to verify conformance to drawings and process requirements
  • Approve or reject finished goods based on specification compliance; coordinate and verify rework where applicable
  • You will document all inspection results in compliance with internal procedures, input quality data into designated systems in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain and calibrate quality and measurement equipment to ensure reliable operation
  • Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives by completing assignments that align with department and business unit goals
  • You will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures

  • You hold ASQ Quality Inspection and ISO 9001 certifications
  • You have thorough knowledge of and ability to use the metric system and geometric tolerancing
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
