We are seeking a detail-oriented Fabrication Quality Inspector to join our team and help ensure our products meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated parts and assembliesVerify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirementsConduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspectionsUse precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, thread gauges, optical comparators, and QC laser equipmentInspect sheet metal components, laser-cut parts, turret-punched parts, assemblies, and finished productsComplete inspection reports, quality records, and traceability documentationReview material certifications, certificates of conformity, and supplier documentationIdentify and document nonconforming materials and productsSupport containment and corrective action activitiesVerify calibration status of inspection equipment before useAssist with gauge control and calibration activitiesFollow ISO 9001 requirements and established quality proceduresQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong background in visual inspection of stamped and assembled parts2–5 years of quality inspection experience in fabrication, sheet metal, laser-cut, turret-punched, or assembly environmentsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsUnderstanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Experience using precision measuring equipmentKnowledge of inspection methods and sampling techniquesBasic Microsoft Office skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to adapt to changing requirements and prioritiesPreferredASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or similar certificationExperience working within an ISO 9001:2015 quality systemPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to perform detailed visual inspectionsComfortable working in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPEWhat We're Looking ForStrong attention to detailProblem-solving and analytical skillsDependability and accountabilityExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to quality and continuous improvementWork hours: Monday through Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm.
