Quality Inspector - Hiring Now
An electronic component manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Inspector in Norcross, GA. This is a contract to hire opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' experience working in quality in electronics manufacturing.
Pay Rate of the Quality Inspector:
$22/hr 
Shift of the Quality Inspector:
Monday through Thursday. The hours are somewhat negotiable but needs to be starting later in the morning, around 10:00AM.
Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and products.
  • Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct measurements, testing, and documentation of inspection results.
  • Identify and document nonconforming products.
  • Review and verify reworked products meet quality standards.
  • Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to production teams.
  • Enter inspection data into ERP systems and maintain quality records.
  • Support continuous improvement and cross-functional quality initiatives.
Qualifications of the Quality Inspector:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, SMT, or microelectronic packaging.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-600 standards.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
