Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality by roaming the production floor and conducting in-process inspections. Your duties will include performing visual checks of products during roaming, conducting incoming and final audits, and performing both visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials and finished parts. You will be responsible for generating, distributing, and filing inspection reports, documenting non-conforming products, and maintaining all necessary documentation as per customer and internal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Roam the production floor to complete in-process inspections.
  • Perform visual checks of products during roaming.
  • Conduct incoming, in-process inspections, and final audits.
  • Perform visual and simple dimensional inspections of raw materials and finished parts.
  • Generate, distribute, and file inspection reports as required.
  • Document non-conforming products and attach appropriate tags.
  • Complete and maintain all required documentation and file material and product certificates.
  • Learn to work with hand-held gauges such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and pin gauges.

Work Environment

Work in a newer building that, while not temperature controlled, offers a well-organized and tidy facility with new equipment. The environment supports a structured approach to quality control and inspection.
