Collins Aerospace is excited to welcome a talented Quality Inspector III. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring quality product is delivered to our valued aerospace customers by performing conformity inspections and coordinating non-conforming product dispositions within the compliance of AS9100.
What You Will Do:
  • Use predetermined methods, operations, setups, prescribed specifications to inspect arriving, in process, and completed products for conformance to engineering requirements and in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Use a variety of measuring devices, testing equipment, computer systems, and statistical control processes to perform in process, final bench and product feature inspections and inspection tasks.
  • Inspects actual products on the floor and on-line.
  • Performs First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
  • Raises notifications of non-conformance, quarantines non-conforming product and, when approved to do so, provides disposition.
  • Oversight and inspection of parts, materials and processes.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience working in an environment governed by AS9100 Quality Management System
  • Detail oriented with good communication and recordkeeping skills
