Take-off with Pilatus! We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support maintenance operations in Chamblee, GA. Responsibility for oversight of maintenance quality, regulatory compliance, inspections, and quality system activities in accordance with FAA regulations and approved maintenance procedures. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performance and documentation of inspections in accordance with FAA regulations, approved maintenance data, and company procedures 
  • Determination of airworthiness, approval or rejection of maintenance performed, and return-to-service authorization where applicable 
  • Review of work orders, logbooks, maintenance records, and parts documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance 
  • Verification of parts traceability, certification, and inspection documentation in accordance with FAA requirements 
  • Support of internal audits, FAA inspections, customer audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Maintenance of quality system documentation, inspection authority records, personnel qualification tracking, and training records 
  • Coordination with maintenance, parts, and operational teams to ensure adherence to inspection procedures and quality standards 
  • Identification and escalation of safety concerns or non-compliance issues, including stop-work authority when required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required; Inspection Authorization preferred 
  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including experience in a quality or inspection role within a Part 145 repair station preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations including Parts 43, 65, 91, and 145, along with aircraft maintenance and inspection practices 
  • Proficiency with technical manuals, maintenance documentation, regulatory records, and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally with maintenance and operational teams 
  • Strong judgment, commitment to safety and quality, and ability to support regulatory compliance and process improvement initiatives

WHAT WE OFFER

  • 11 paid holidays a year, plus 15 days of paid vacation time, and 6 days of paid sick/personal time to start with an increase to 20 days of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus

The pay range is $35 - $48 per hour depending on experience. Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
