What You'll Do
In this hands-on quality role, you will:
  • Verify product conformance to design and quality requirements.
  • Provide objective evidence and documentation of inspection results.
  • Conduct audits, surveillance activities, and quality monitoring.
  • Identify, document, and communicate product discrepancies.
  • Segregate and control non-conforming materials and perform preliminary review and disposition activities.
  • Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Verify outgoing orders and certification documentation for accuracy and traceability.
  • Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools, including:
    • Calipers
    • Micrometers
    • Ring and pin gages
    • Indicators
    • Comparators
    • Smart Scope equipment
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify defects and non-conformances.
  • Review and process certification documentation to meet AS9100 and company quality requirements.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve documentation and quality-related issues.
  • Maintain control over non-conforming products and support corrective actions.
  • Obtain and maintain Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR) stamps for applicable customers.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members within the Inspection team.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality system compliance.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • 2+ years of related quality inspection experience
  • Hands-on experience using:
    • Calipers
    • Ring and pin gages
    • Comparators
    • Smart Scope equipment
  • Knowledge of QA inspection methods, processes, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:
    • Outlook
    • Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
