Semi Driver Pay Range: $20-$23 / hour

Job Summary

Responsible for providing positive customer service to all patrons and fellow employees of the company. Under the direction of the Manager and the Logistics Coordinator, haul company grain from various elevator facilities and farm fields to local market destinations. Drivers will haul locally and be home daily.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide quality service to all customers of the business.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on the companies' trucks and equipment.
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections on your truck and trailer and report any issues needing to be addressed.
  • Maintain all needed paperwork pertaining to the truck and loads being hauled.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and general appearance of your equipment.
  • Work in a safe manner and obey all safety procedures.
  • Obey all State and Federal Laws along with all DOT and CDL regulations.
  • Be able to work in a professional manner with other employees as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned, including helping with operations duties if needed.
Requirements
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license along with a CDL.
  • Be able to pass a DOT drug screening test.
  • Maintain a safe, clean driving record.
  • Experience working with the public demonstrating excellent customer service.
  • Must have an excellent attendance record and be at work promptly each day.
  • Must be willing to work hours beyond the normal work week, including some weekends.
