Position: Quality Inspector-Tualatin, OR
Shift: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift Available
Pay:  $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience
We are seeking detail-oriented and quality-focused individuals to join our manufacturing team as Quality Inspectors at our client located in Tualatin, Oregon.

Position Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. This role plays a critical part in supporting manufacturing operations and maintaining our client’s commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined, assembled, and finished components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming materials or products.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience using precision measurement tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Preferred:
  • Experience in firearms, aerospace, machining, medical devices, or other precision manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems.
  • Experience using CMM equipment is a plus.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift and move materials up to 40 pounds.
