Job description

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all materials and finished products meet company quality standards and specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, performing measurement and visual tests, documenting results, and communicating with production staff to maintain product quality and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and measurement tests and reject or return materials that do not meet quality standards.
  • Inspect in-process production by verifying specifications, performing tests, and communicating adjustments to operators and the production supervisor.
  • Approve products by verifying specifications, using quality tools, and returning nonconforming items for rework.
  • Verify completed rework, place questionable products on hold, and identify and report waste.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports, maintaining logs, and entering data into quality databases.
  • Maintain measuring equipment by following operating and calibration procedures and reporting repair needs.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Maintain job knowledge by participating in training and reviewing technical publications.
  • Follow the AHF Quality Control Inspector Training Manual and take responsibility for quality incidents in the assigned area.
  • Support quality and organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by AHF Management.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and quality system use.
