The Quality Inspector Team Lead position with Quick Hire Staffing in Lansing, MI offers competitive pay ranging from $17 to $18.50 per hour. Overall Purpose of the Quality Inspector Team Lead

Lead and oversee quality inspection activities for manufacturing or warehouse sites to ensure adherence to quality standards while promoting a safe work environment.

Reports to Site Supervisor/Site Leaders

Responsibilities

(including but not limited to)

Team Leadership & Development

Supervise and guide quality inspection team members to maintain high performance and accuracy

Provide training and mentorship to new inspectors

Operations

Conduct inspections of manufactured parts or products for defects

Read and enforce compliance with work instructions and processes

Use measuring or testing equipment as required

Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards

Maintain excellent customer service and communication with clients and team

Health & Safety

Ensure team compliance with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies

Data Management

Collect, record, and analyze inspection data to identify trends and implement improvements

Utilize company portals for time recording and policy acknowledgements

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Proven experience in quality inspection and team leadership roles

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
