Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites is searching for experienced & motivated Front Desk Associates in both Full & Part-Time roles at our Slippery Rock property. Our Front Desk Associates are the first point of contact and first impression for guests. Warm, knowledgeable, service, and helpful guidance reassure guests they have made the right choice to stay with us. Our Front Desk staff checks guests in and out efficiently and ensures they have all they need for a great stay. Hospitality experience is preferred, and we will provide on-the-job training to individuals serious about a long-term role in the industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon hotel entry
  • Provide check-in & check-out service
  • Answer phones
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Provide shift reports to ensure seamless communication among hotel staff
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and high-quality service environment
  • Accommodate special requests whenever possible and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Stay calm under pressure and adapt to quickly changing hotel and customer needs
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends
  • Exceptional customer service skills in person and over the phone
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
