Job description

Grounds Keeper & Maintenance Seasonal - Weekend


If you're committed to a high level of customer service, join our talented team as a maintenance technician and start helping our hotel maintain a clean facility! Our ideal technician has strong knowledge about general maintenance and repairs, and some knowledge of pool maintenance. Will also provide excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Compensation:

$13 - $14 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Test pH levels for water quality and add or maintain chemicals levels
  • Diagnose faulty equipment to determine if it needs to be fixed or replaced
  • Identify and fix cracks or leaks in the pool area structure, pipes, or plumbing
  • Use certified pool equipment to clean swimming pools and water filters
  • Complete paperwork and services performed
  • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues
  • Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines
  • React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts
  • Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment
  • Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments
  • Shift is for weekends only

Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be able to lift heavy equipment and dexterity
  • Previous experience as a pool technician and understanding of common pool maintenance techniques, chemicals, and equipment
  • Must be able to work in harsh weather conditions
  • Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance
  • This position requires punctual and regular daily attendance
