Job description

The Village Inn Restaurant is hiring a Cook with scratch kitchen experience to serve the members of the Lutheran Life Villages Independent Living community!

This is a full-time position with every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) availability required.

Preferred candidates will be able to:

  • Prepare high-quality, scratch kitchen meals
  • Follow recipes and menu rotations
  • ServSafe certified or able to obtain
  • Comply with state and federal guidelines for food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Team player with strong people skills
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
