We are currently looking for a Service Technician - Turf Equipment to join us in our New Bern store.
BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
โข Performs basic diagnostic and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products
โข Responsible for the disassembly, assembly, and repair of components and machines
โข Performs all service tasks as assigned by the Service Manager
โข Prepares all forms (detail of work performed on repair orders) required in conjunction with job assignments
โข Reports any additional work required on equipment to the Service Manager, for proper and safe operation by the customer
โข Participates in all training programs as directed by the Service Manager
โข Accounts for all time and for all materials used in performing work duties
โข Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
โข Reports any issues with shop tools, equipment or vehicles that are in a serviceable condition or are unsafe for use
โข Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
โข High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
โข 3+ year(s) of experience performing service repairs
โข Ability to write diagnosis and work completed on routine reports (repair orders)
โข Proficient knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical systems and/or hydraulic systems
โข Ability to use personal computer and various types of diagnostic equipment
โข Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
โข Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
โข Ability to speak effectively one-on-one with customers
โข Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
โข Valid driverโs license required for potential driving situations
โข Ability to operate a forklift, preferred
โข Must possess set of tools
