HOW YOU'LL ADD VALUE

The Quality Engineering Supervisor - Operational Quality provides frontline leadership and oversight of quality engineering activities related to nonconformance management, investigations, CAPA execution, and service process quality. This role ensures quality work is performed consistently, accurately, and in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).

The Supervisor plays a critical role in stabilizing service execution by coaching Quality Engineers, prioritizing work, and escalating risks appropriately.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Essential Duties

Perform responsibilities defined in the Quality Engineering Supervisor (Core Responsibilities) document.

Provide day-to-day oversight of investigations, nonconformances, complaints, and CAPA activities.

Assign, prioritize, and balance investigation and CAPA workload across Quality Engineers.

Review investigation records and CAPAs for quality, completeness, and procedural compliance prior to closure and administration of Nonconformance/CAPA Program.

Coach and mentor Quality Engineers on investigation techniques, root cause analysis, and documentation quality.

Identify recurring issues or elevated risks and escalate to Quality Engineering Management with context and recommendations.

Partner with Operations and process owners to ensure corrective actions are practical and sustainable.

Support internal, client, and regulatory audits related to operational quality activities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

4+ years experience in quality engineering or quality assurance within a regulated environment.

At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience overseeing technical quality work.

Strong investigation, CAPA, and root cause analysis knowledge.

Effective communication and coaching skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to perform computer-based work for extended periods.
