Job description

Job Summary:
IEHP is dedicated to healing and inspiring the human spirit, and they are seeking a Supervisor of Quality Engineering to lead their Software Quality Engineering team. This role involves supervising daily operations, collaborating with IT parties for thorough testing, and ensuring compliance with quality program goals.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of Software Quality Engineering team members.
• Collaborate with several IT parties to ensure functional and nonfunctional testing in several workstreams is done thoroughly.
• Build the Test design/strategies and ensure full test coverage of upstream /downstream impacted applications as part of major system enhancement and new projects.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Eight (8) years of recent experience with test automation tools and processes
• Experience performing heavy data validation and ETL processes testing
• Experience with SQL Query Writing and ability to script automated testcases
• Experience in a lead or supervisory capacity required
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering from an accredited institution required
• Strong comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current business practices and computing systems, IT development methodologies and operations
• Strong comprehensive knowledge and understanding of health payer data
• Strong comprehensive knowledge and understanding of healthcare Industry standard message EDI formats like HL7(ADT's, Orders, Charges), X12 (837/834, 270/271, 276/277), NCPDP, HIPPA, and other relevant formats
• Strong comprehensive knowledge and understanding of various types of testing, including Functional, API, Integration, Data integrity, Regression, security, Performance Testing etc
• Strong comprehensive knowledge and understanding of multiple automation frameworks and ability to learn new ones quickly
• Strong comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Agile and DevOps processes
• Strong comprehensive knowledge and understanding of process improvement methodologies such as LEAN or other comparable methodologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence
• Ability to perform API testing using Ready API/SoapUI/Postman and automation of APIs
• Excellent organizational skills
• Problem-solving skills, creativity, and critical thinking
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to present to senior management
• Ability to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment with the willingness to listen to alternative points of view
• Creative thinking to optimize test approach and efficiency
• Empathy for how users interact with products
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
• Ability to identify and resolve conflicts among Team Members
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

• Prior development experience is plus
