The group you'll be a part of The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes. The impact you'll make As a Field Service Engineer at Lam, you will step into the limelight of customer support.

Your work goes beyond installations and troubleshooting; it ensures the operational excellence of our complex semiconductor equipment. You're on the front lines, understanding customer needs and collaborating with various teams to deliver solutions. What you'll do Site quality leader (SQL) is responsible for maintaining and tracking site quality performance and growing the site quality culture.

The SQL will drive the accuracy of reporting, e.g. detailed problem description, SAP Damage code selection, customer impact level, etc.The SQL role is also chartered with executing to site quality objectives and communicating the voice of the customer and site into the Factory and Engineering teams to drive tangible, sustainable, and measurable quality improvements. Who we're looking for Expertise in problem statement creation, root cause determination, and efficacy of corrective actions (5Why/Ishikawa) Holds service team accountable for delivering on site quality objectives and results Responsible for developing site problem solving capabilities Conduit for feeding voice of the customer and site into the Factory and Engineering teams to drive tangible, sustainable, and measurable quality improvements

Drive 8D quality and cycle time to meet customer and LAM expectation Analytical capability to proactively identify trends and patterns in quality data to proactively drive required improvement. Drive activities with the site & QPL to solve the customer's high level quality concerns and improve Lam's quality performance Responsible for communication to theFactory when the impact to the customer has changed and anin-progress 8D needs to be updated Works as part of the global QPL/SQL team to improve processes and share BKMs to improve results Utilize the Lam escalation process for business process non-compliance Preferred qualifications Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software including Microsoft Office Suite. Communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
