Job description

Quality Engineer II
 

We are seeking a Quality Engineer II to support manufacturing operations, product quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. This role will focus on new product launches, root cause analysis, corrective actions, quality system compliance, and driving overall product quality improvements.

Local Texas candidates are preferred; however, qualified candidates outside the area will be considered and may interview remotely.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
• Experience supporting new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CQE certification
• Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing experience
• Experience in appliance, automotive, HVAC, or similar manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, DMAIC, DOE, and SPC

Responsibilities

• Support new product launches and ensure quality requirements are met
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective action efforts
• Monitor quality metrics, warranty trends, and manufacturing performance
• Partner with Engineering, Production, Supplier Quality, and Reliability teams to resolve quality issues
• Analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support audits, quality system compliance, and process standardization efforts
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership as needed

The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing quality background, experience leading quality improvement initiatives, and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
