ATI Huntsville Operations is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to support and enhance our quality management systems and processes across the organization. In this role you will be a problem solver, a facilitator responsible for driving our Right First-Time metrics, and a quality champion supporting process and product quality systems. This is an onsite, day shift position typically working Monday-Friday.

Successful candidates will quickly learn to navigate ATI SA&C quality program, processes and products, and be able to develop strong relationships with our customers and internal cross-functional teams. In this role you will work closely with production teams, technical leaders, and management to drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with quality standards, and achieve organizational quality objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Review of customer contracts and specifications to determine compliance with requirements
  • Perform material receiving inspections and final product certification reviews
  • Lead Continuous Improvement activities and events to reduce quality incidents and improve process capability
  • Facilitate problem solving and root cause analysis events with cross functional teams
  • Support internal and external quality compliance audits
  • Develop Process Control Plans and PFMEA
  • Analyze data, determine the highest impact items, and develop action plans
  • Perform tasks as assigned by management
