What You'll Do
Alloy is looking for a Quality Engineer that will participate in all aspects of creating and operating a Quality Management system capable of processing volume orders from customers while working with all departments to maintain ISO 9001 certification. The quality engineer will focus on effective and efficient inspection processes, timely processing of rejected material, maintaining good relationships with key suppliers, and on-boarding and training of new quality technicians.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and familiarity with Quality tools and methods.
This role generally requires 4 days onsite per week.
Responsibilities
• Develop and document standard procedures
• Create and execute inspection plans, gather other data as needed
• Assist with root cause analysis of issues, follow up on corrective actions
• Maintain Quality records and prepare customer documentation
• Assist with calibration
• Other quality tasks as needed or assigned.
Responsibilities are subject to change based on shifting business needs
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating a manufacturing quality system
• Experience with part prints, tolerancing
• Experience with inspection tools, hand held (micrometers, calipers) and more advanced (comparators, CMM, vision systems).
• Ability to write clear instructions and follow instructions.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, Word documents and basic statistics
• BS in technical field or engineering preferred
SALARY RANGE: $76,100 - $114,100 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
