Job description

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Conduct Inspections: Examine products and materials on the assembly line to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Use Measurement Tools: Utilize tools such as calipers, gauges, and microscopes to measure product dimensions and verify tolerances.

Document and report any defects or non-conformities discovered during inspection, and work with production staff to resolve any issues.

Continuously monitor quality control procedures to identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations to management.

Conduct periodic audits of production lines to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production staff to develop and implement new quality control procedures and testing protocols.

Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations, and ensure that all quality control processes are in line with these guidelines.

Train new employees on quality control procedures and expectations to ensure consistency in product quality.


Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot quality issues, and work with other departments to implement solutions.

Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding quality control requirements, and help resolve any quality issues that arise throughout the supply chain.

Develop and implement safety procedures, policies, and guidelines, and ensure that they are followed by all employees.

Conduct regular safety inspections in the manufacturing facility, identifying any hazards or potential risks.

Provide safety training and education for employees, including proper use of equipment and handling of hazardous materials.

Investigate accidents and incidents, and create reports to identify root causes and preventative measures.

Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure that safety regulations and requirements are met.

Monitor and maintain safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and safety goggles, ensuring that they are in good condition and accessible.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and developments, and make recommendations to management as needed.

Conduct safety audits to evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and identify areas for improvement.

Act as a liaison between the manufacturing facility and regulatory agencies, ensuring that all compliance requirements are met.

Maintain accurate records of safety-related data, including incidents, injuries, and safety equipment inspections.
