Job Title: Assistant Quality Engineer

Department: Manufacturing

Reports To: Quality Engineer Manager

Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance
    • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and testing of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
    • Review and analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Monitor in-process settings and compliance requirements.
    • Ensure outgoing products meet specification requirements and ISO ownership.
    • Maintain documentation in place.
  • Process Improvement
    • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement process improvements.
    • Use Six Sigma or Lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Conduct root cause analyses of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality assurance activities.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure all quality-related documentation complies with industry regulations and standards.
  • Supplier Quality Management
    • Evaluate and monitor the quality of materials and components provided by suppliers.
    • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
