Position Overview

Responsibility is to lead all activities related to quality control, implementing systems and processes to ensure that products meet the quality standards required by the company and regulators.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain effective quality management systems, including policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Implement quality tools, such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), to identify and prevent defects in production.
  • Oversee all quality control activities, including inspection of raw materials, manufacturing process, and finished product, ensuring early detection of quality issues.
  • Coordinate with production teams to establish quality standards, conduct acceptance testing, and ensure the integrity of the production process.
  • Manage the non-conformance process, investigating and resolving quality issues, identifying root causes, and developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to address recurring quality issues and ensure continuous improvements in processes and products.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections, preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Direct and develop a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, training, and feedback to improve team performance and competency.
  • Promote a culture of quality within the organization, fostering individual accountability and commitment to excellence in quality.
  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are

  • Minimum education: completed related degree.
  • 5 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Deep knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • English proficiency (90%).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • SAP system.
  • Possess a quality certification, such as Six Sigma or ASQ.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality products.
  • Deep understanding of quality control techniques and tools, such as Six Sigma, 5S, FMEA, among others.
  • Personnel management.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends.
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to solve complex quality problems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
