  • Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its Solutions Team, supporting new product development from initial feasibility through prototype validation, customer approval, and successful production launch.

  • This is an outstanding opportunity for an engineering professional who enjoys working with customers, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure world-class quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

  • As a Quality Engineer, you will serve as a key contributor throughout new product development while ensuring customer quality requirements are fully understood, implemented, and maintained.

  • Customer Quality & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer quality representatives

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer quality topics during development and project execution

  • Interpret and implement customer-specific quality standards (such as ZF QR83 and similar requirements)

  • Coordinate and participate in customer quality audits

  • Support customer issue resolution through production handoff

  • Prepare customer-required quality documentation

  • Project & Cross-Functional Support

  • Support Product Engineering during feasibility studies

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, and other internal teams

Automotive Core Tools:

Apply and support industry-standard Automotive Core Tools, including:

  • APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)

  • PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)

  • PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)

  • MSA (Measurement System Analysis)

  • SPC (Statistical Process Control)

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline

  • 4+ years of professional Quality Engineering experience

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and inspection requirements

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline
