Location: Slatersville, RI Shift: 1st Shift | 6:42 AM - 3:12 PM Pay: Around $30.00/Hour Based on Experience Direct growth opportunities throughout the Engineering department. Position Summary The Associate Quality Engineer plays an important role in ensuring products and manufacturing processes meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards

This position works closely with engineering and production teams to investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, analyze process data, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Participate in corrective action investigations, including operator retraining and process improvements.

Process and maintain Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and analyze trends to identify recurring defects and improvement opportunities. Analyze inspection, supplier, and quality data to identify process trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. Support the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory compliance requirements.

Assist with developing and maintaining inspection control plans and shop floor inspection requirements. Support measurement strategies and data collection processes for manufacturing operators. Assist with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audit preparation and compliance activities.

Apply quality engineering tools and statistical methods to support manufacturing and process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred, but not required Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment required Strong understanding of SPC, statistics, and data analysis Experience identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions for manufacturing quality issues.

Experience with quality tools such as Gage R&R, control plans, NCRs, and CAPA preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt certification or coursework is a plus. #LP.
