The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for documenting, managing, implementing, and institutionalizing the Quality Assurance plan for the assigned business unit and/or service center.
Responsibilities
  • Document, Implement and Manage Quality Assurance
  • Plan for the assigned functional area.

Perform Quality Control tasks to include:
  • Document tailored processes across the value stream using ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK, ITIL and other internationally recognized process frameworks.
  • Collaborates with other members of management to develop new processes and methods in assigned functional areas
  • Creates product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures
  • Understand challenges in the existing AS-IS processes and recommend improvements for process optimization
  • Identify technical and administrative controls and create rules, policies, and procedures for the control implementation.
  • Lead all activities involving quality assurance, compliance, audits, deliverables, and process improvement.
  • Conduct project specific audits to measure the degree of adherence to documented policies and procedures.
  • Prepare product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Develop project scorecard on Quality Assurance and report to project and executive teams on the level of adherence.
  • Work on special process improvement projects to identify root cause and put in place corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence

Qualifications
0+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial/Systems Engineering)
