Job Summary:

You are responsible for the evaluation/compliance of processes, products, and services of the Quality Management System (AS9120/ISO 9001). You will be responsible for supplier performance, contract compliance and the internal audit program

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance to the AS9120B/ISO 9001 certification by executing internal audits in accordance with QMS scheduling Maintains schedule, execution, and reporting of all aspects of the internal audit program.
  • Perform solicitation/Contract Reviews to identify and report on all quality requirements. Extract requirements from each contract and enters data into the E1 System
  • Maintain/Execute Discrepancy Report processing and ensures DR review includes trends product, supplier, SupplyCore nonconformance including corrective action system.
  • Maintain Recall system (GIDEP), maintain Qualified Supplier Listing and maintains Joint Certification Program in accordance with the respective work instructions.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Travel requirements for this position may exist based on audit location.  The travel requirements for this position will be approximately less than 15%.

Requirements

  • Higher education or 4 years of QA equivalent work experience.  Green Belt preferred. May include military personnel who have been formerly trained or have relevant experience in lieu of civilian experience. 
  • Self-driven and pro-active in nature; takes initiative to resolve challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must be able to engage in and exchange communication with others in all situations.
  • Highly meticulous and organized to execute multiple projects at once, adhering to deadlines.
  • Demonstrates strong team building qualities such as collaborating with internal departments of varying levels of expertise.
  • Forward thinking individual who uses critical thinking to envision new ideas and improve processes.
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Required to be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent residency (green card holder).
