The Quality Control Associate is responsible for inspecting all food products in the warehouse and discerning whether or not they meet our high standards of quality.
The Quality Control Associate reports to the Quality Supervisor and is an important member of the operations team. By prioritizing food safety in the warehouse, the Quality Control Associate ensures that our customers continue to receive the high quality, delicious, and affordable food they love.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 2PM to 1030PM
What you'll be doing:
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complies with all state and local regulations
  • Performs frequent QC audits on produce and grocery products throughout the warehouse.
  • Responsible for verifying the quality and accuracy of inbound deliveries, including temperature and pressure checks.
  • Identifies and reports any potential food safety or quality problems, immediately escalating to the Lead and/or Supervisor.
  • Documents and maintains legible, accurate records of all food products in the warehouse including discarded and damaged products from various departments.
  • Performs basic mathematical computations when conducting audits, inspections, and cycle counts.
  • Reports any issues regarding low yields so they can be escalated appropriately.
  • Effectively manages time and changing priorities to minimize downtime in the receiving and production departments.

What you have:
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Experience or comfort with working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)
  • Strong verbal communications skills
  • Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to
  • Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
