Job Summary

The Sample Coordinator, Production supports the Production teams by managing the flow, organization, and submission of samples throughout the development lifecycle. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and clear coordination across internal teams, licensors, and external partners.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the sample archive room, including sample bins and sample walls, ensuring organization and accuracy.
  • Track and manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of SMS (Salesman Samples), TOP (Top of Production) and Photography samples to internal sales and merchandising team
  • Coordinate sample submissions for licensor review, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met.

Sample Submissions & Approvals

  • Create and maintain sample tags, photograph samples, and prepare complete sample packages for licensor approval.
  • Work closely with factories to track sample submissions and follow up on deadlines

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Communicate effectively with Product Development, Production, Sales, and external partners to ensure smooth sample flow.
  • Maintain detailed records and follow up on outstanding samples, submissions, and approvals.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.

  • 1–2 years of experience in a Sample Coordinator or Production support role, preferably within legwear (socks) or apparel.

  • Demonstrated ability to review and approve yarn colors and lab dips.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Self-motivated with strong follow-through and a proactive approach to problem solving.
