Job description

Cosmetic Company is searching for an experienced qualified Quality Control Inspector for a cosmetic hair & body care manufacturing company in Gardena Ca.

Full Time - Monday-Thursday, 7am โ€“ 3:30pm and 6:30am - 3pm on Fridays

$23 / per hour

Summary

The Quality Inspector will provide quality-support to production line leads, conduct product testing' s & data documentation. The Quality Inspector will utilize practices and techniques within the disciplines of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Improvement disciplines.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

-Reads and understands written instructions and SOPs.

-Knows and understands quality-related SOP requirements that determine appropriate process for conducting job performance.

-Quality Control of incoming components prior to filling

-Reviews finish good master sample & product sample for accuracy.

-Reviews Master Batch Record for accuracy prior to releasing finish goods.

-Validates products specification by utilizing testing equipment

-Inspects products that are being filled in the filling lines to ensure all filling specifications are meet.

-Performs final Quality Assurance inspection for finished product release.

-Verifies Packaging for accuracy on finished product release.

-Inspects finish good pallet and reports any noticeable damages

-Performs Master Batch Record data entry in required spreadsheets.

-Performs quality duties as assigned.

Requirements:

-1 Year in hair & body care manufacturing preferred.

-Willing to submit a Background Check.

-Eligible for employment in the Unites States.

-Quality auditing experience preferred, either in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.

-Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred

-Effective communication skills at all levels both written and verbal

-Effective skills in analytical thinking and problem solving.

-Ability to perform multiple tasks

-Ability to work in teams to obtain results.

-Computer skills (Microsoft Office words, excel, outlook) skills is required.

-Job involves walking, standing, and sitting periods.

-Ability to develop and deliver effective written/oral communications.

-Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

-Executes plans to resolve basic to moderately complex problems.

-Perform light physical duties in keeping personal workstation clean organized and presentable.

-Skill in using precision tools preferred (Weight scale, ph. meter, Viscometer)

-Must be able to effectively research, compile, sort, and present information and reports.

-Resume required.
