About the Opportunity


A growing plastic injection molding manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join its 2nd shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in quality inspection within an injection molding environment who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting focused on producing high-quality products.


In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining quality standards by performing in-process inspections, monitoring production, conducting audits, documenting inspection results, and helping ensure products consistently meet customer and company specifications.


What You'll Do


  • Conduct hourly in-process inspections of products and process parameters following documented procedures
  • Perform quality inspections to verify products meet established specifications
  • Document inspection results, process monitoring data, and quality concerns accurately within company computer systems
  • Perform layered process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Complete off-line 100% inspections when required
  • Identify and communicate quality issues to production personnel
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by maintaining accurate quality documentation
  • Help ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and manufacturing standards


What You Bring


  • 2+ years of Quality Technician or Quality Inspection experience within a plastic injection molding environment (required)
  • Experience performing in-process inspections in a manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes
  • Experience documenting inspection results and entering quality data into computer systems
  • Ability to follow documented inspection procedures and quality standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams
  • Ability to work independently on 2nd shift
