We are headquartered in historic Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee. Check out our website at QuaverEd.com. QuaverEd is seeking a Quality Control Specialist.


Qualifications:

  • Technical experience with Mac/PC, iPads, and Chrome/Edge/Safari/Firefox browsers;
  • Knowledge of organizational softwares/spreadsheets such as Google Sheets or Excel;
  • Any experience in copyediting or testing is beneficial;
  • Knowledge of web design or coding is not required, but could prove helpful;
  • Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills to reiterate testing steps in detail;
  • Task prioritization and time management to manage multiple projects of varying complexity and priority; and
  • Pattern recognition and an investigative mindset, finding errors/issues based on the process of elimination.
Requirements:
  • Testing website-based software and educational lessons, checking for quality in written content, art design, code functionality, and more throughout all stages of development;
  • Documenting testing processes, reporting bugs, and writing testing steps to recreate issues;
  • Use of project-specific spreadsheets and Asana project tracking system to manage tasks; and
  • Collaborating with the Development, Art, and Content team to maintain our standard of excellence before and during public releases.

The role is not a remote work position. All employees must live within commuting distance of Music Row in Nashville. We are currently requiring all team members to work at minimum 3 days a week in the office on the QuaverEd campus and allowing 2 days remote. This requirement is subject to change at the discretion of the team member's Supervisor and company policies.
