HIRING IMMEDIATELY: QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR IN CAROL STREAM, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Carol Stream, IL. This individual will be responsible for inspecting manufactured parts to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing setting and is highly detail-oriented, dependable, and organized. They should be comfortable reading work orders, drawings, and blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and accurately identifying parts that fall outside of specified tolerances.

Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $19.00/hour 
  • Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm
  • Friday 6am - 12pm 
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Located in Carol Stream, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspection of all parts that Core Pipe manufactures.
  • Primarily final inspection.
  • Internal calibration.
  • Must be able to distinguish any part that deviates from acceptable tolerances as specified by the work order.
  • Ensure that all procedures and activities are conducted in a safe manner.
  • Reading documents for analytical purposes, reading for high degree of accuracy (contracts, technical reports and so on) – Routinely.
  • Viewing video display terminals (VDTs). – Occasionally
  • 10% Receiving inspection.
  • 85% Final inspection of Fittings and Flanges
  • 5% May be asked to work in other areas of the manufacturing facility to alleviate bottlenecks.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School education
  • 1 – 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills MS Office, and ERP systems.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Accuracy and efficient data entry
  • Dependability a must
  • Basic math, able to read work orders, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Measuring equipment knowledge: Micrometers, caliper, height gauge, and PMI equipment.
  • Must be able to distinguish any part that deviates from acceptable tolerances as specified by the work order.
  • Limited application of manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination (such as high-volume keyboard input or operation of manually controlled equipment).
  • Frequent moving, lifting of small parts, limited heavy lifting and moving parts with pallet jack.
  • Routinely sitting, Standing, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, lifting and carrying under 10lbs
  • Must Utilize steel toe safety footwear, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection
