The Quality Control Auditor is responsible for auditing and inspecting foam products to verify conformance with established company specifications and customer quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide general support to the Quality Assurance (QA) department.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 quality management standards.
  • Inspect foam materials and determine conformance to established specifications and quality standards using appropriate measuring tools.
  • Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials, including the collection of supporting data and photographs.
  • Investigate and verify internal and external quality complaints.
  • Conduct audits of work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Support ongoing training initiatives that promote quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Serve as a role model for quality, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Assist in developing visual work aids to improve product identification, packaging accuracy, and quality consistency.
  • Follow all 5S, safety, and company policies and procedures.
  • Meet productivity expectations by completing work accurately and efficiently.
  • Cut and prepare foam samples for laboratory testing and evaluation.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of quality control experience and/or related training preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience working with SAP is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn and utilize various software applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and support problem-solving efforts.

Education / Certifications:
  • High School Diploma and/ or equivalent required
