Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Client : IT Distribution

Location: Southaven, MS, 38672

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Pay Rate: $17 Per Hour


Job Purpose: Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing electronic products to ensure compliance with customer requirements, specifications, and company standards. Supports quality assurance processes within the integration and manufacturing environment to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Inspects incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with customer requirements and specifications. Performs inline and functional inspections during production operations based on company processes and standards. Applies sampling methods (e.g., MIL-STD) to determine acceptance or rejection of products. Identifies and rejects non-conforming products and escalates issues as needed. Documents inspection results, defects, and compliance data in ERP systems and quality checklists. Generates reports and supports analysis of quality data and findings. Participates in corrective and preventive action processes to address non-conformities. Collaborates with production and quality teams to ensure adherence to standards and continuous improvement. Communicates quality issues and findings to supervisors and relevant stakeholders. Ensures compliance with ESD, safety, and quality control procedures. Supports audits and quality reviews as needed. Performs additional duties as assigned.


Skills:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Basic understanding of quality inspection processes in electronic manufacturing or similar environments. Familiarity with inspection methods, sampling plans, and quality standards (e.g., MIL-STD) preferred. Basic knowledge of computer hardware and electronic components preferred. Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools for data entry and reporting. Knowledge of ESD handling and testing practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and inconsistencies. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a production environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 1+ year of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or related roles.
