Description

We are seeking a experienced, detail oriented Quality Control Supervisor to lead and oversee quality inspection activities across manufacturing and field construction operations. This role ensures all products meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, internal specifications while driving continuous improvement and built in quality processes.


Requirements:


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage QC Inspectors and Technicians to ensure timely in process and final inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, inspection processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Oversee non-conformance reporting and resolution using Autodesk ACC (BIM 360).
  • Manage measurement and testing activities (plumbing, electrical, welding, MedGas).
  • Verify completion of production documentation prior to final QC approval.
  • Drive root cause analysis using 5-Why, 8D, PDCA, and other problem solving tools.
  • Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to implement quality improvements.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide data driven reporting and recommendations.
  • Work directly with Operations management to implement new processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for quality staff.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and enforce safety policies.
  • All other duties as assigned. Complies with all safety policies and procedures.


Job Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of quality control/assurance experience in manufacturing or construction.
  • Supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Degree in Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to read, mark up, and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools (5-Why, 8D, PDCA).
  • Experience with Autodesk ACC/BIM 360, Dozuki, HoloBuilder, or Smartsheet.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • CQT or CQI certification.
  • Familiarity with modular or off site construction.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or commercial modular construction regulatory requirements.
